"God Killer is the conclusion to the Redneck Apocalypse we deserved." —DJ Bodden, author of The Black Year Saga

The disturbing final chapter in the award-winning Redneck Apocalypse series.

The last battle for Earth is here.

Rivers of blood are going to flow.

Anyone who doesn’t die in the first hemorrhage is going to wish they had.

What readers are saying about the Redneck Apocalypse series
"It is gritty. It is in your face. And it is fantastic. Ever wondered what the end of the world would look like? Just turn the page." ~Daisy C.

"I'm still reeling from this unbelievable experience and my body is slowly recovering from the rush. What a buzz! 5 stars, and I'll throw in the moon and the sun too!" ~Silvia

"Twin Peaks meets Supernatural meets American Horror Story" ~Philip A. McClimon, author of the Human Extinction Level Loss series

"Superbly well written and flawlessly edited; it's a genuine pleasure to read. The action starts right from the git-go and never lets up." ~schutzenschnurr

"It's distinct. It's engrossing. It's genuinely strange (in the haunting, striking good way.) Many times I felt like I could feel the force, the sheer desperation with which this was imagined. Under the surface, there is such intensity, angst and anguish." ~Tim McBain, co-author of the Awake in the Dark series

"Deep, interesting characters whose scars, tats, and broken bones mesh to form an odd kind of pre-apocalyptic beauty..." ~DJ Bodden, author of The Black Year Saga

"I would not recommend this book unless you mentally prepare yourself for a bumpy, twisted ride, filled with a huge heaping of soul-sucking darkness, but if you can take it, this book is well worth reading." ~James Hunter, author of the Yancy Lazarus novels

God Killer Redneck Apocalypse Book 3 eBook eden Hudson

I want to thank the author, eden Hudson, for gifting me a copy of an arc. I also ended up buying the ebook anyway just because it's that great. Plus I'll be buying the paperback when it comes out to add to my collection of paperbacks of this great series. Full disclosure! Lol!

God Killer, book 3 of the Redneck Apocalypse series far exceeded my expectations. I had to wait a while to write my review because I had to ponder what I read. This book left me thinking about.....well, just thinking. Free will....choices made.

In Hell Bent, book 2, I was left at hell's door wondering what Colt and Tough had up their sleeves against Halo's evil mayor and his minions of powerful fallen angels.

God Killer doesn't just take us to the threshold of hell, it walks us through the valley of the shadow of death. It's a battle of epic proportions in a good versus evil slam down like no other! There's the Whitney boys, Colt and Tough, coming down fast and furious on the side of good. Colt escaped from a powerful fallen angel's clutches to take on the mantel of heaven's charge. And then there's Tough as he reluctantly finds himself the leader of a small fledgling army of Crows, Coyotes, and humans as they take on the power of darkness. This gang of misfits is being used in a mighty powerful way despite their imperfections, or maybe because of them. It reminds me of a saying that ordinary people are used to do extraordinary things. Now into this quirky quagmire, throw in a couple of heroines, Tiffani and Desty, and the pieces of the apocalyptic puzzle start falling into place.

What I loved about this series is you get to see into the minds of the main characters as they give us their points of view. We see their struggles and insecurities. We see their strengths and weaknesses. We see them slipping into the depths of despair and we see them trying to crawl their way back into the light. We see their hopes, successes, and failures. We see it all. And do you know what was really eerie? I saw myself among them. I'm probably not making any sense. You'll just have to read the series to experience it because it's really indescribable.

I want to thank eden Hudson for the brilliant Redneck Apocalypse series. Her words held me spellbound. While I'm sad the series ended, I'm expecting more from this amazing author. Bring it on, I'll be waiting!

I'm giving this series 5 stars, no make that 6 stars....no make that a Royal Flush of stars, awe shucks, the sky's the limit, there's no end to the stars!

God Killer Redneck Apocalypse Book 3 eBook eden Hudson Reviews

Oh my goodness! I was so happy to read the conclusion but so sorry to see it end.

If you have ever wondered what the end of the world would look like, wonder no more. eden Hudson gets it just right!

There is war, certainly, and it is hell, but then, eden takes us straight there, right into the heart of hell and walks us around in the dark. The imagery in this depiction is chilling and provocative. If you really want to think about what the end looks like, here it is. But don't start with this book, go to the beginning and read Halo Bound, then read Hell Bent, then, and only then, read Godkiller. You've really got to see where Tough and Cole come from to understand where they end up.

It's difficult to discuss this book without giving spoilers, however, it is enough to say that karma can be a real bitch. Some characters get what they deserve, and some get exactly what they don't deserve. This is a surprising, totally fulfilling series to read and this book really was the icing on the cake that Ms. Hudson baked up in dark, heated corners of her mind.

After you read it, let's talk about it. You can find me on Twitter, I'm Cool Auntie J.....
I used to think that there was nothing out there like Joss Whedon. The witty dialog, the storytelling brimming with shocking twists and deaths, the characters so charming and fragile and real that they feel like your actual friends. I used to think there was nothing like it, that is, until I read eden Hudson.

Tough and Desty and Colt and Tiffani have become like my friends, and just like my real friends, they're a messed up bunch. Though they do so in different ways from one another, these characters wear their hearts on their sleeves. I can't imagine someone reading through these three books and not caring for them a great deal. In any given scene, they're about equally likely to make me want to laugh or cry. Or both.

Reading Godkiller only cemented these feelings. I pictured all of these scenes in my head just like watching an awesome TV show. I make that comparison because I can't think of any other reading experience like it.

For fear of spoiling anything, I'll not talk about specific character's story lines, but here's a little more about the story

As the book opens, the fate of pretty much every main character hangs in peril, along with all human life on Earth, and the continued existence of God Himself. High stakes. So you know what that means. A final battle with all the fixin's Guns. Blades. Blood. Death. All the good stuff.

But why stop with conventional weapons and injuries? Why not throw in rivers of blood, nuclear level detonations, and a being capable of wiping out all life, the planet and God? Sounds like exactly what eden Hudson would do.

Like Hell Bent, tons of story and death and action packs these pages. This time, though, it was the breaths between the dramatic beats that caught my attention. Things slowed just enough in just the right places to let the emotions of the action sink in and then build up crazy anticipation for the next bloodbath. It became harder and harder to stop reading, so I gave in and read the second half all at once.

Though the series finale was stimulating and satisfying, I'll miss Tough and Colt and everyone else. But I'll be the first in line to read whatever eden Hudson does next, and I'm excited as hell to see what it is.
